Tournament results and army lists from Germany, August 2026

Hi everyone,

August is over, and once again there was plenty of dice rolling in Northern and Central Germany this month. Two nice events were on the calendar, and despite the relatively modest number of participants, both provided a great atmosphere, some interesting army lists, and the occasional barbecue evening.

As in previous months, a quick note for our international readers: there are virtually no two-day tournaments in Germany. Most events consist of three rounds and are therefore often decided by the SoS tiebreaker. SoS stands for Strength of Schedule and essentially describes how successful the opponents you played throughout the tournament were.

Dweghomfürst die Erste

01.08.2026 – 8 Player

After quite some time, a store tournament was held at Dweghomfürst once again. Space is definitely at a premium in the store, but that didn’t deter the local Conquest community.

You can find the full results here: Dweghomfürst die Erste - Turnierergebnisse | T³ - TableTop Turniere - Deutschland (The T3 faction listings are incorrect.)

Armylist Hamburg

  1. Place 1 – Benny Culexuss aka with City States
Benny took first place with a friendly shooting list featuring an Ipparchos. Thanks to the 4  chariots, the reinforcement curve is really nice, and from round two onwards, the nasty cars start putting a lot of pressure on the flanks.

Bannerkrieg um Rodenbach „Part 6“

29.08.2026 – 10 Player

The second tournament of the month took place at the end of August in Rodenbach: Bannerkrieg “Part 6”. Ten players showed up and were treated not only to some Conquest, but also to an excellent barbecue courtesy of Alex. So this was a tournament where both dice and coals were brought to the glow.

Armylist Rodenbach

  1. Place – Lena mit Wadrhun
Lena took the victory, showing the boys down south again that women dominate the German Conquest scene. I personally really like her Tribes list, and it also goes in a direction that I enjoy playing myself.

    Double the death [1985/2000]
    The W'adrhŭn

== Scion of Death [135]: Kiss of the Dilosaur, Cure
     * Chosen of Death (3) [210]:

Conclusion

There are still a few tournaments on the calendar for September and October. The 2nd Wesergeplänkel will take place in Bremen on September 5th, 2026, and with 18 players already signed up, it is completely booked out. So if you’re still hoping to get a spot, you’ll have to hope for someone to drop out.

In addition to the generous prize pool provided by Para Bellum, I also donated 10 miniatures and a dice set, so that every player would be able to go home with a prize.

The 7th Eroberung der Scheune in Bedburg was originally scheduled to take place on September 26th, 2026. Unfortunately, the tournament had to be cancelled this time due to a lack of interest from the community. Given the current fuel prices, though, I can’t really blame people for not wanting to drive all the way across Germany for a tournament.

If you’re still looking for a tournament spot, there’s another opportunity in October. Mark October 17th, 2026 on your calendar: Conquest am Teutoburger Wald #3 will take place in Bielefeld, and there are currently still spots available.

Hanna
